He realized that his apps were Jurassic as compared to his friends. The frequency of these realizations increased with every new device he came across. Although he updated himself on some of these but he knew it was a short term solution.
He conceptualized a medium that would firstly assist him and then come to the aid of every Android enthusiast. A one stop mobile application which would help friends to stay in the loop with the entire social circle,in terms of applications they use. We assisted him in realizing this by creating an application which fosters app sharing and keeps friends updated about each others favorite, recent and most used applications. A Facebook integration allows all your friends on Facebook, who have Pickapp on their phone, automatically attach to your Pickapp friend list. Information regarding all the applications used by your friends is shared with you through Google Cloud Messaging Push Notifications.
Pickapp provides descriptions about popular applications in the friend circle and at Google play. It also displays an App of the day. Users can directly install or open the app, if it is already downloaded through Pickapp. The application is created using Android SDK 8. All data is maintained using a local database, Sqlite.
Our Web Design company in India prepared the illustrations and incorporated these into the User interface, so as to make it vibrant and appealing. The backend for this application is created using CakePHP.
