Yes there was a night, when I woke up with a chill down my spine and a nightmare fright. It was a lion's roar still echoing in my audible receptors compelling me to think that I was still inside the dream. Shivering, I gathered thought, to realize my granddad snoroaring from the other room. I still wonder whether it was a snore or a roar? That day I longed for a device to record and measure those ear piercing snores so I could introduce grandad to his glass shattering talent the next morning. Alas I dint have one that night, but our Application Development Company recently developed an entertaining iOS application, Snore-o-meter.It empowers you to score, record, playback and delete snores. You can embarrass your friends by comparing the volume of their snores to a variety of other noises and even post these on your social networks. The application is Compatible with iPhone 3GS and above, iPod touch (3rd generation and above) and iPad. It requires iOS 4.3 or above and is optimized for iPhone 5.Measuring the sounds of slumber
Snore-o-meter helps you enjoy at the expense of the embarrassment of your family and friends. It was created using the iOS Sdk. You record snores manually or automatically for 15, 30, 45 and 60 seconds using the Audio Recorder in the AV foundation framework. These can be replayed using the integrated media player. A gauge measures the loudness of the snore, which can be compared to Noise level or Fun comparison charts, which are fed into the Sqlite database from the client side. The app also allows you to set customized labels, for the Snoreking or the Wheezingweasle in your friend cirlce. All snoring clips are readily recorded with date and time. These can be shared on your social profiles using Facebook and Twitter integrations.

The entertainment quotient of this application is unquestionable. The database is loaded with a number of funny comparisons and users can find out, who in their circle of family and friends is the master of snorers.
