The Evon Premier League (EPL) 2025, played at the OFD Ground, Raipur, Dehradun, proved to be one of the most memorable tournaments in Evon’s sporting history. The season opened on October 4, 2025, and after weeks of thrilling contests and standout performances, concluded with a grand finale on November 23, 2025.
Five teams, LS Dragons, Mobile, Tech Warriors, and debutants Full Stack United and Thunder Strikers, battled for supremacy across fierce and friendly competition. What began as a competitive league soon evolved into a display of teamwork, talent, and sheer determination, capped by Full Stack’s spectacular run to the title.
The Format and the Foundations
This season introduced an intriguing retention policy. The three existing franchises - Mobile, Tech Warriors, and LS Dragons - were allowed to retain six players each, preserving their seasoned cores. Meanwhile, the two new teams, Full Stack United and Thunder Strikers, had the option to retain four players before the auction.
Each team then completed their 15-member squads during an auction that combined tactical thinking with spirited bidding.
The league stage was tight from start to finish, with LS Dragons and Full Stack United finishing level on points at the top. Mobile secured the third playoff spot, while Tech Warriors and Thunder Strikers showed flashes of form but fell short.
As per the format, the top team (LS Dragons) advanced directly to the finals, while Full Stack United and Mobile were set to clash in the eliminator for the second spot in the summit clash.
The Eliminator: A Test of Temperament
With pressure mounting and questions being raised about their batting strength, Full Stack United were asked to bat first after Mobile won the toss in a high-stakes eliminator. What followed was a spirited and calculated performance that defined their journey.
Deepak Singh Mudila anchored the innings with 55 runs off 41 balls, while Ashish Negi struck a rapid 42 from 26 deliveries, including four boundaries and two sixes. Their partnership provided the backbone for a commanding total of 171 runs.
When Mobile began their chase, Deepanshu Jaiswal struck on the very first ball of the innings, dismissing Devesh Bhandari and giving Full Stack the perfect start. However, Prashanth Joshi stepped up and fought back with remarkable intent, his fluent 65 off 50 balls laced with eight boundaries and three sixes keeping Mobile’s hopes alive. His confident stroke play briefly tilted the momentum, creating both excitement and a flicker of fear in the Full Stack camp.
The middle overs were then dominated by Neeraj Oli and Sumit Panwar, who bowled tight, game-changing spells that stalled the scoring rate and built relentless pressure.
In the final over, with one bowler injured, Subodh Kothiyal was handed the ball. Rising to the occasion, he dismissed two batters in the over to seal a 15-run victory and send Full Stack into their maiden final.
The Grand Finale: The Dragons Versus the United Spirit
The final, played on November 23, 2025, brought together the two most deserving teams of the season - the composed and well-balanced LS Dragons and the fearless, fast-bowling powerhouse Full Stack United.
Full Stack won the toss and chose to field first, trusting their bowlers to set the tone. The decision proved decisive. The Dragons began steadily, anchored by Amit Kuliyal, who scored a patient 31 from 31 balls, holding the innings together as wickets fell around him. However, Full Stack’s bowlers showed why they were regarded as one of the most lethal attacks in the tournament.
Neeraj Oli was near-unplayable, taking 3 wickets for 13 runs in 4 overs, while Ashish Negi, mixing deadly yorkers with clever variations, claimed 3 for 18. Deepak Singh Mudila complemented them perfectly, finishing with 3 wickets for 21 runs in 3.5 overs, wrapping up the innings as LS Dragons were dismissed for 123 in 19.5 overs.
The chase began cautiously, with Full Stack aware that early wickets could bring the Dragons back into the contest. After an early dismissal, Deepak Mudila and Ashish Negi steadied the innings with a confident partnership. Negi, who had already shone with the ball, turned aggressor with the bat. His innings of 45 off 30 balls, including five boundaries and one six, was a masterclass in controlled aggression, piercing gaps and keeping the scoreboard moving.
At the other end, Neeraj Oli continued his all-round brilliance with 27 off 23 balls, ensuring the momentum never dipped. When Sumit Panwar walked in to finish the game, he did so in style, striking a boundary through the covers with a perfectly executed reverse sweep.
Full Stack United reached 125 for 4 in 17 overs, completing a comprehensive 6-wicket victory to be crowned EPL 2025 Champions.
The final showcased everything that defined Full Stack’s campaign-sharp bowling, disciplined batting, and an unshakeable sense of teamwork.
The Core of the Comeback
Full Stack United’s journey was the story of the season. For a debut team to go all the way required balance, belief, and composure under pressure.
Leadership was shared and steady throughout. Ankur Sharma, alongside senior figures like, Subodh Kothiyal, Sachin Joshi, Deepak Mudila, Abhishek Purohit, and Kuldeep Butola, formed the core of the leadership group that guided the younger players and shaped the team’s temperament.
Their mix of experience and fresh energy created a squad capable of adapting to every challenge.

Gratitude and Acknowledgments
The teams and organizers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Sumeet Sir(Founder & CTO) and Chauhan Sir(CEO & Co-Founder) for making the event possible and even more special by attending and cheering for the players. A big thank you also goes out to everyone who came to support their favorite teams and players throughout the tournament.

The quiet developer who could swing the new ball. The soft-spoken analyst who finished chases with quiet confidence. The marketer who threw himself across the boundary to save a single run.
When the last match ended and the medals were handed out, it was clear that the Evon Premier League had given us more than results. It left behind shared stories - moments of courage, laughter, and connection that will find their way into conversations long after the final scoreboard fades.
EPL reminded us that beyond work and deadlines, we are teammates too. We celebrate together, compete together, and learn a little more about each other with every over bowled and every run chased.
As the field at OFD Ground, Raipur rests under quiet skies, one feeling lingers: gratitude - for the game, for the people, and for the memories we built together.
And while this season has ended, at Evon Technologies, a software development company in India, and at Logic Simplified, the spirit of the Evon Premier League never really stops. It simply waits - for the next first ball, the next cheer, and the next story to be written.
