This product, which won the Startup City Delhi/Mumbai Awards, aids organizations in holistically handling the modern Human Resource Management process, as per their specific requirements.
Client specificity –The relevant Why, What and How?
Our client envisioned a product which would aid organizations in managing their talent optimally, while keeping the processes simple. To this effect, our business analyst and technical architect, decided to leverage a Cloud based setup for building a SaaS based application, using open source technologies. We chose to go with RoR using a MySQL database, since the client emphasized on speed, scalability and security. We proposed the usage of a Linux platform for Load Balancing, as the In-built gems of RoR work optimally on Linux.
Specific Solutions and Support
Our web design company in India paid attention to detail in integrating and customizing the Grid Layout, a third party tool, as per the specificity of requirements. The tool aids in the Appraisal Process. The Organizational Tree, which was difficult to fit in on a single page for larger organizations, was customized using the Flex tool.
The product had multiple dashboards with more than 80 graphs. HTML5 was used for supporting browsers and Flash for older browsers. The Graphs were dysfunctional on IE7 till our developers integrated the JQ plot.
