Heartless Pirates want to burn down the entire forest to make a new leg for their Captain. Blinded by their loyalty, they frantically seek the wood from the Holy Tree. Like starving rabid wolves hunting flesh, they are hell bent on incapacitating everyone who obstructs them in their quest. Our custom mobile app development company presents its new iOS Tower defense Game App, Leg Defense. It empowers you to join forces with your animal friends to impede these zombie pirates. It is available on iOS 4.3 and beyond.Plugging the Pirate's Plot
A tower defense game is one wherein you plant upgradeable towers (in the form of different animals) to act as obstructions for the enemies (pirates) from reaching a per-defined target. Your animal friends exercise their special powers to target the pirates from land, water and trees. You can play through the 30 adventurous hand drawn levels (sand laden beaches to dense forests) contending with 18 diverse types of enemies in different modes, which challenge your spontaneity and strategizing proficiency.
You can enjoy the game in the shorter Survival Mode or the full Xwave mode. In this mode many enemies attack in different number of waves (sets). There are 6 upgradeable towers (animals) in total. Beaver, platypus, skunk, monkeys, woodpecker and porcupine are here to help you defend the forest. Clearing each level gets you wood, which is used to upgrade towers. You are rewarded with money throughout the game. With varied maps and designs, users have to utilize different towers from land water or tree. The money you earn helps you buy and sell these towers.
Setting up the Maze…
Leg Defense is based on the physics of collision. It was built using the Box 2D Physics Engine Framework to foster this functionality. The Physical Editor tool helps display the animations involved in the collision between pirates, animals and objects accurately. Our proactive app developers even contacted the creators of these frameworks to maximize the utility of this tool. The game was built on the Cocos 2D gaming framework. Texture Packer assisted designers in conveniently placing many images (through SpriteSheets) on the screen simultaneously. The SQLite 3 backend was employed.
The game interface required creation of several maps. Our Flash development team created a unique drag-and-drop tool to help our client in converting his ideas into maps. The tool had a map grid on which the client could drag and drop objects to customize maps.
It comes in both free and paid versions. An iAd integration enables advertisement display in the free version of the game. You can compete against people from all over the world through the Game Center Integration.

Painting the Picture…
