With this in mind, our benevolent client wanted to create an application to assist people in organizing and circulating events. Our custom mobile app development company gave shape to this idea through Gettogether, a lifestyle application for Android users. The app allows you to create and share event information with friends and see what's going on in your community.Fostering Functions
The Application harmonizes the process of hosting events. It provides for the creation and maintenance of an event schedule. You can regulate Restriction levels for selected events, in order to ensure that only selected people receive invites. The events are categorized as Open, Closed or Locked. Open events are visible to all, in Closed events invitations can only be sent to friends, who can further forward them and in Blocked events only one person has the authority to invite people. The app contains a Google Map integration which displays all types of events in your locality, in map form. You can invite your friends through the Google Cloud Messaging Push Notification. Even your friends, who don’t have a smart phone or the app downloaded, will be able to see invitations as SMSs. It is available for device with Android 2.2 and above. The application is built using the Android 8 SDK.
